Kardamili is the nearest seaside village with main amenities, eating places and shops as well as a camp site and good beach.

Stoupa, Agios Nikolaos and Agios Dimitrios are a few kilometres along the coast from Kardamili. Stoupa being a well known holiday spot and excellent sandy children friendly beachs.

Kalamata which is the main town is located within a 40-minute drive and has all amentities of a large town and a brand new hospital.

The local airport of the area is located just outside Kalamata and near to the town of Messini and operates during the summer months with various European charter flights.
