2BDR Off-plan Stone villa

We have designed 4 beautiful stone houses (two are now sold), on a private plot of land near the picturesque village of Douliana.

Each house design is different from the others, so that you can choose one that suits your personal preferences, and have a unique home.

The designs of the houses are based on the traditional style of architecture for the area, so that they blend in with the Cretan landscape and are in harmony with the local environment.

The area, where the plots purchased are, is situated at approx. 1km distance from Douliana village. The area enjoys a healthy dry climate in green countryside surroundings. Because of its natural beauty, the area has great potential for development, that will also raise the value of properties here. Thus making it not only a beautiful place to live in but also an excellent investment for your money.

The plots have young olive trees planted which you could continue to cultivate. All houses fulfill the EOT/GNOTrequirements if you wish to obtain an EOT license.

DOULIANA
The village of Douliana is considered to be one of the most beautiful villages one can visit in Crete. It is located on top of a small hill with views to the North towards the sea and the mountains to the south. To the east and west of the village there is rich vegetation and forests and lovely views to other small villages of the area.
Two deep-water streams with enormous cypress and oak trees surround Douliana. You can walk through the streams and visit the caves and St John"s chapel that is built on a rock inside one of these caves.
The Greek Ministry of Culture classifies the village as a Traditional Greek village of extraordinary natural beauty. All the village houses are preserved and are built in the traditional architectural style. There is a taverna, a typical Greek ‘kafeneion’ (café) and a mini market.
The village is only 3km away from the nearest beach and 4km from the village of Kalives where there are public services, shops and another beach. The village is 25km from Chania, 20km from Souda port and 30km from the airport.

CHANIA
Chania is the second largest, most beautiful and important town of Crete. It is built between the White Mountains and the Cretan Sea, in the northwest side of the island. Chania is known to be a town with a living Cretan tradition but also with a European character.

The ancient and modern monuments, the Venetian Harbour and the Old Town, the colourful neighbourhoods, the traditional lifestyle and the friendly inhabitants who warmly invite you to join them….

Built on the ruins of ancient Kydonia, it has seen and survived many invaders, but has also tasted civilizations that left their mark on its buildings, castles, fortification walls, antiquities, monasteries and churches.The rich architectural tradition of the town, all the monuments and its admirable position, had as a result the proclamation of the town as Town of Architecture by the Greek Ministry of Culture.
