This beautiful one bed apartment is on the top floor giving stunning views of the mountains beyond. It has a large covered balcony, ideal for outdoor dining with family and friends, or just enjoying the Summer sun. The apartment sleeps up to 4 people, ( two adults, two children) and has everything you will need for an enjoyable stay.

Choose between relaxing by the pool or taking the short stroll to the beach, where you will find miles and miles of unspoilt shoreline.

This area of Italy has a mild and pleasant climate especially in the months from April to October. May is one of the most enjoyable months when the landscape changes on an almost daily basis, when the hillsides are covered with the many wild flowers which grow here.You have guaranteed sunshine in the Summer months with temperatures rising in August.

One of the areas many attributes is it"s miles of unspoilt sandy beaches. The fishing port of Soverato is only a few kilometres away. The seas around Soverato are crystal clear and the region has many hidden coves that attract various water-sports and diving enthusiasts. It is renowed for its natural reserve for the protection of "sea horses".

The Calabrese cuisine is simple but rich in flavour. Calabria is famous for its olives, citrus fruits, vegetables and wine which are reflected in the various dishes available in the region. Fish dishes are very common and beautifully prepared and can be enjoyed in the local restaurants.

The area is steeped in history and the evidence of this can be seen in the many "hill top" villages dotted around the landscape. Some of these date back to the 15th Century when they were built high in the hills to offer protection from sea invasions.

The local village of Isca Marina is situated only a 5 minute walk from the apartment. There you will find local shops, supermarkets, butcher, post office, bakery and cafe"s. There are a number of beach bars open in the Summer months, providing lively entertainment and good food and drink.

Nearby attractions, include the old town of Badolato, this 15th Century village, looks like it"s about to slide down the hillside into the valley. With it"s houses balancing on the edge, it"s narrow cobbled streets and large central square it is well worth a visit. Further down the coast you will find the old town of Gerace. Gerace is sometimes called "the Florence of the south" for its art and architecture or the "city of saints" for its religious buildings. Gerace"s Norman Cathedral is the largest religious building in Calabria. Squillace to the north of Soverato is famous for it"s ceramics. Take time to visit and watch the crafts men as they create their wonderful pieces, using a tradition handed down from generation to generation.
