Puerto de la Duquesa / Duquesa Marina
Located at the midway point between Marbella and Gibraltar, Puerto de la Duquesa has by and large escaped the package holiday scene with only private apartments available to holidaymakers.
The port is one of the more peaceful along the Costa del Sol. During the day the port boasts a wide variety of shops, and amenities. Duquesa Golf and Country Club
The Robert Trent Jones designed 18-hole Duquesa Golf course lies in a privileged position, and offers the golfer breathtaking views of the sea, Gibraltar and Africa. Established in 1985, the course is well bedded in and demands concentration and accuracy to avoid the strategically placed trees and bunkers.
The 17th hole is one of the most demanding, and beautiful on the course requiring skill and accuracy. Whilst only 129 M long, the hole drops away from the tee by 30 M, and with the prevailing Poniente wind blowing presents a formidable challenge.
