Area Information
La Rabida is an important historical area of the province as it is where Columbus lived and set sail for the new world. It has many cultural places to visit such as the museum of the Rabida which offers to its vistors replicas of the three galleons that columbus and his comrades used to sail to America. You can also visit the Monastery of Saint Mary and its beautiful gardens or if you prefer something less cultural you go to the open air theatre which overlooks the estuary and enjoy a play or a concert.
La Rabida is just 15 minutes away from the beautiful village of Mazagon where you can enjoy its virgin sands or its delicious gastronomy in one of its many restaurants. It also has a leisure port which holds up to 500 boats and where you can practise a variety of water sports or just relax with a sangria in one of its numerous bars.
We must mention the Doñana National Park as it is the largest in Europe and because of its amazing variety of flora and fauna. Here you can on treks on 4x4's, quad bikes or horseback.
