Area Information
Trianda village (officially known as Ialyssos) retains a traditionally Greek atmosphere. The village is situated at the bottom of steep, pine-covered hills and on the edge of the Ialyssos coastal plain, which largely comprises olive groves, citrus orchards and tiny cultivated fields.
The Church, surrounded by traditional, low-rise, white and ochre buildings, is in the centre of the village and there are also many small shops, boutiques, bars and tavernas, both in the village centre and which stretch along the adjacent high street.
The beach at Trianda is mainly shingle, lined by the deep-blue Aegean Sea, and is popular with wind-surfers due to the wind that blows on this coastline.
