“The Castle” – the earlier summer residence of the Rоmanian Queen Maria is placed around 2km south-western from the city Balchik.
It is 1924, when the Queen of Rоmania – Maria Alexandrina Viktoria de Edinburgh was fall in love with the small part of Bulgarian land, convenient on the Black Sea coast.
The place where the castle is built, was cowered between the white hills of Balchik and the sea – a real part of heaven.
At this complied and harmony place, the Queen has had her most beautiful moments.
The thousand year old trees, the Polish flowers, the streams and birds as like the dehumidified old waterfalls and stone springs bewitched the First Lady of Rоmania and she wished her heart to stay there after her death eternal.
